Acne is one of the most widespread diseases in the world. More than 80 % of people suffer from acne at some point in time in their lifetime whether during their teenage or youth. So it's really difficult to suggest one diet plan that can suit all people suffering from acne from different regions of the world as different regions have different traditional foods.  So here is a brief description of how different people from different regions of the world can improve their acne through the choice of their diet.

Indian Food

Indian foods are quite spicy as compared to other regions of the world. People suffering from acne in India should try to avoid spicy foods, deep fried foods like samosas or pakoras and oily breads like rogni naans. Yogurt based curries and vegetables can be used.

Chinese Food

Soups, stir-fried vegetables, steamed rice can be used in diet but try to avoid fried rice and deep fried foods like spring rolls and egg rolls

Italian food

Fresh fruits, minestrones, pasta with tomato based sauces neither cause acne nor make it worse. Garlic bread, fried mozzarella stick and creamy risottos should be avoided if you are suffering from acne.

Thai food

Coconut based curries and deep fried noodles such as pad thai and deep fried entrees such as fish cakes should not be used in diet if you are already suffering from acne because it makes acne worse while thai beef salads and hot pots can help in improving acne.

Japanese food

Miso soup, sushi and sashimi and ramen noodle dishes can also help in healing acne while deep fried foods such as tempura and katsu-don should be avoided
