Gems Nava Ratna

The Nava-Ratna is a beautiful nine-gem talisman that includes all of the gems connected to the nine planets of the stars.

The Nava-Ratna has been seen for centuries as one of the most auspicious and magnificent of talismans; its magical properties are renowned throughout India and Southeast Asia.

The most commonly used layout is with a ruby, the Sun, set in the middle, with the other gems around it; a diamond for Venus above the ruby, followed, in a clockwise direction, by pearly (Moon), coral (Mars), Zercon Hessonite (Rahu), blue sapphire (Saturn), cat’s eye (Ketu), yellow sapphire (Jupiter), and emerald (Mercury).

As with all the gems, the Nava-Ratna needs to be made so that all the stones touch the skin.
